I think Vector Optics Online nailed it with this Frenzy 1x26x32 red dot. It is a big, wide window competition style red dot sight that performed very well in testing. The build quality is robust and the dot is clean without distortion. It is important to keep in mind that this is not a compact optic. It is designed to give you a large viewing window that promotes fast sight picture acquisition and follow up shots. Perfect for handgun competitions. However, with the available riser mount SCFRM-24, it becomes a fantastic red dot for rifles if you shoot 2 or 3 gun competition. Target acquisition on a rifle was fantastic with that big window distorting none of the target area.

• I really like the side loading battery tray. This allows for battery replacement without removing the optic from the firearm or from the optics mount. It is a robust aluminum tray that is held in place by two screws.

• Onboard controls are simple. Two buttons to control dot brightness up and down, hold the down button to turn it off. Being a competition style red dot, extra functions like auto brightness are not missed, but be aware that this model does not have that feature. Other models are available with them if they are desired.

• The red dot comes with a low height picatinny base adapter which will work well on hunting rifles, shotguns, or handguns that have a picatinny rail. As mentioned above, the tall riser mount (SCFRM-24) is available for rifles that require more height.

• The footprint of this red dot is a bit odd to me. It uses a GIN footprint that I have been told is similar to a C-more footprint. If you have a handgun with a milled slide to accommodate a specific footprint, this optic may not fit depending on the milled area of your slide, so check the parameters beforehand.

Overall I really like this red dot, and it will continue to live on my Browning rimfire handgun. It is such an easy sight to use quickly, and makes for a very fun experience. This optic is not currently listed on the US website unfortunately, hopefully that will change in the near future, but I have found it available from some other online retailers.
