Product Review
2026-10-05This is a review of Veyron GenII 2-10x32 HD CTR Rifle Scope (SCFF-83) from Jani Nordman.
MPVO on a budget? Compact scope with a free in-the-box cantilever mount. For the money you pay, it’s a solid option, but with some downsides, let’s have a closer look.

Glass
This is where the cheap Vector scopes have always been okay but now days starting to excel, the Veyron GenII 2-10x32 HD CTR Rifle Scope (SCFF-83) now has better glass, meaning at least the glass clarity won’t be the reason not to spend your hard earn cash. But as expected at this price range, it has quite a few downsides, with distortions on the glass, but as always, you’ll be the judge from the pictures! I’d recommend seeing it in person so you can judge whether it’s acceptable for you.

Features
What makes the Veyron GenII 2-10x32 HD CTR Rifle Scope (SCFF-83) special from other scopes on this price level? Answer is the compact design; this is much shorter than similar magnification scopes, meaning if you need a smaller overall package being only 243 mm compared to the Continental x6 2-12x44 CTR MPVO Rifle Scope (SCFF-67) 317mm. But of course, these two are not comparable in most other ways.
You get an FFP (first focal plane) MIL reticle; this is excellent for precision. The center dot is small, aiding in precision. In my testing, I could hit 300m no problem; just remember with the budget scopes the eye position is more crucial, slight movement and the image distorts more than more expensive scopes.

For my AR eye relief the included cantilever mount posed some issues as mounting it as far back as it goes and having the scope at the very end of that mount I still had to move my head forward to get the proper eye relief, so you might need some 34mm legs to make the scope come more backwards, but of course this is platform and user specific, but just be aware. The included cantilever is compatible with the X-accu mount assembly kit, so you can purchase that separately and add a red dot to the setup.

The eye relief is punishingly small, as expected at this price range and with the compact design.
Scope body
You get a 6061-T6 aluminum with a 34mm tube size, so it should stand up to the usual amount of abuse moving around and slamming into gun safes, but I maybe wouldn’t put this on anything meant to see some serious use.

You get the usual lockable turrets, so no accidental adjustments happen. Zero setting for the elevation, side focus wheel, with in the box a bigger add-on wheel, so adjustments are made easier. You get 6 illumination settings; not the brightest, but at dusk or dawn you should be able to see the middle dot more easily, just be aware in direct sunlight or even slight overcast the illumination is not visible at all.

There is also a preinstalled throw lever that you can easily remove with one screw if you prefer a different throw lever.

What I’ve noticed with multiple Vector scopes is that the adjustment wheels are very stiff, on this model, the magnification adjustment wheel is the perfect stiffness, easy to move with one finger, but not so loose that it moves on recoil. The other wheels are another story, they are so stiff that it literally takes skin off trying to move the illumination wheel or the parallax wheel, without the included bigger wheel, without it it’s also so sharp and hard to move that after few moves and my fingers are hurting and skin is starting to break.

Reticle
You get what I consider one of the best reticle models, with a super precise center dot, 0.08 MIL with a clear Christmas tree patter lower part, so you can fast adjust windage and elevation on the fly. See more of the reticles in the pictures and the links below

Final words
If you’re on the market for a compact scope or need to upgrade on a budget, the Veyron GenII 2-10x32 HD CTR Rifle Scope (SCFF-83) could have a solution for you, there are multiple zoom ranges to choose from, some new models are being released soon, please follow the link below to read more about the new models being offered and the ones coming soon! Just remember you won’t get the best in any aspect, but just a usable scope! If you have a little bit more in the budget, you should have a look at the Vector Optics Continental or Tauron lineup.
