This is a review of Review of Frenzy-S FA 1x17x21 GenII Red Dot Sight (SCRD-73) from Jomi Garrucho.
Mounted on a .22LR Rossi rifle, tested at 25 meters over 5 range sessions (~600 rounds total).
Performance
The glass quality is excellent for its price range. The image is very clear and bright, with good light transmission thanks to the fully multi-coated lenses. Even at higher magnification, clarity remains consistent, making it ideal for small targets at short to mid-range.
Being an FFP (First Focal Plane) scope, the reticle scales with magnification, which is a huge advantage. Your holdovers remain accurate at any zoom level, making it very practical whether you're shooting at 4x or 16x.
The reticle is sharp and easy to read, and scales properly across magnification, which is a big advantage for holdovers and consistency.

Low Light Use
The illumination is actually usable, especially during dusk shooting. It helps with quick target acquisition without overpowering the sight picture.

Turrets & Adjustments
Turrets have crisp, audible clicks, making adjustments predictable and repeatable.

Eye Relief
Eye relief is generous and comfortable, even at higher magnification, which makes extended shooting sessions easier and more forgiving on positioning.
Pros
Very clear and bright optic
Sharp, well-defined FFP reticle (scales with magnification)
Useful illumination for low-light shooting
Audible, tactile turret clicks
Excellent eye relief even at 16x
Cons
Illumination knob is stiff and a bit hard to turn (minor issue, not a deal breaker)

Final Thoughts
For a compact FFP scope, the Veyron delivers solid performance. It’s lightweight, precise, and well-suited for .22LR target shooting and small game setups. The clarity and reticle quality stand out the most.
Overall: Great value optic for the money.
