This is a review of Frenzy-S 1x17x20 Red Dot Sight (SCRD-M68) from Jomi Garrucho.
After four weekends and about 600 rounds on my M&P 2.0 Optics Ready (mounted with a DPP Titanium RMSc plate), the Frenzy-S SCRD-M68 has impressed me as a compact, durable, and carry-friendly red dot option.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, the optic feels solid and confidence-inspiring while staying lightweight at just 26 g (0.92 oz).
The aspheric lens is distortion-free with excellent clarity—no distracting aberrations at the edges.
The housing has a noticeably thicker shell with raised borders around the buttons, which prevents accidental presses while carrying.
Fully enclosed and IP67 waterproof, it handled rainy range sessions with zero fogging or obstruction.

The multi-reticle system (3 MOA dot, Circle, Circle-Dot) gives versatility, though I found the circle-dot particularly fast to acquire from the draw and excellent for follow-up shots.
The reticle brightness is strong—easily visible in direct sunlight—and includes 2 night vision settings.
Windage and elevation adjustments are tactile and precise, which makes dialing in simple.

The motion sensor works as advertised—no worries about forgetting to power down.
Side-loading battery tray means no re-zeroing when changing batteries, which is a major plus.
Compact footprint (MGT / RMSc) makes this one of the better choices for concealed carry pistols.
Throughout testing, it held zero without issue despite live fire and weather exposure.

No green reticle option (would be nice for shooters who prefer it).
No solar backup—battery-only operation.

The Frenzy-S SCRD-M68 delivers where it matters most: reliability, clarity, and ease of use. With its lightweight enclosed design, crisp reticle, and practical features like side-loading batteries and motion activation, it’s an excellent choice for EDC and concealed carry pistols.
