Modern shooters switch between platforms, optics, and roles more than ever—whether across carbines, PCCs, duty rifles, or training setups. That’s exactly why we built the VAS™ (Versatile Adaptability Solution) Series — a fully modular, cross-compatible ecosystem designed to simplify red-dot setups while giving you more flexibility than traditional fixed mounts.
No matter how you configure your optics or how your shooting needs evolve, the VAS™ Series keeps your setup clean, consistent, and future-ready.
The VAS™ Series includes ten components, all designed to work seamlessly together

Mounts
Footprint Adapters
VAS™ MGT Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MGT1)
Utility Accessories
VAS™ Quick Release Lever (SCRA-QD7)
At its core, the VAS™ Series is organized into three functional categories:
Three heights of universal mounts
Footprint adapters that fit the most common red-dot standards
Utility accessories that expand where and how you run your optic
Together, these components create a plug-and-play ecosystem that adapts to nearly any red dot, rifle setup, or shooting style. Each VAS™ component is purpose-built to solve a specific compatibility or positioning problem — nothing redundant, nothing locked-in.
The VAS™ Series provides three center-height options—low, medium, and high—so shooters can choose the sight height that best matches their preferred cheek weld height while keeping the sight picture consistent.
For a closer look at how cheek weld height influences red-dot mounting, see our guide on mounting a red dot on a rifle. We also cover common height standards like absolute and lower 1/3 co-witness in a dedicated article.

Center-height values are 1.5" / 38 mm, 1.93" / 49 mm, and 2.26" / 57 mm respectively. These measurements are based on our Frenzy FLEX 1x24x29 (SCRD-76), and other red dots sit extremely close to them, with only minimal variation—ensuring predictable alignment across different optics.
Moreover, each mount features a dual-screw Picatinny clamp that distributes recoil forces evenly along the rail, enhancing shock resistance and maintaining a secure, repeatable zero under sustained use.
LOW Mount (SCRA-75): Ideal for traditional setups, prone shooting, and users who prefer a classic sight-to-bore relationship.
MEDIUM Riser Mount (SCRA-76): Popular in dynamic carbine shooting; keeps the head upright and reduces neck strain.
HIGH Riser Mount (SCRA-77): Perfect for use with gas masks, helmets, or night vision, while also enabling faster target acquisition in high-tempo drills.
All three mounts can be installed forwards or reversed, depending on your personal preference and rail space. AR shooters will especially appreciate the improved comfort and the unrestricted shooting posture these mounts support. By the way, these mounts all use 6061-T6 aluminium and a solid picatinny base for secure, repeatable positioning.
The VAS™ Series includes five footprint options, making it compatible with most major red dots on the market:
VAS™ MGT Footprint Adapter (SCRA-MGT1)
Just mount the adapter, click in your optic, tighten it down, and you’re ready to go. The adapter design adds minimal stack height while maintaining a rigid, repeatable interface for reliable stability under recoil.
This “one ecosystem, many footprints” design is perfect for shooters who frequently switch optics or test different platforms. If you're unsure which footprint your optic uses, our footprint guide breaks down the naming system and the most common standards.
The VAS™ Series also includes smart add-ons that extend your mounting options:
Instant 45° offset red dot adapter for quick secondary sighting — transition from your primary optic to the red dot with a simple roll of the rifle.
The side mount accepts footprint adapters as well, so you can run your preferred red dot at 45° with zero hassle.
VAS™ Quick Release Lever (SCRA-QD7)
A quick-release solution that lets you remove or swap your optic without tools.
Ideal for shooters who switch between setups, share rifles, or need immediate optic removal in the field.
Instead of buying multiple fixed mounts, hunting for the correct footprint, or compromising on height, the VAS™ Series lets shooters build the exact setup they want — and change it whenever they need.
It’s a compact, durable system that keeps your red-dot setup consistent, organized, and ready for whatever comes next. If you want more long-term flexibility from your optics, the VAS™ Series is built for exactly that.
