This is a review of Maverick Red Dot Sight & Magnifier One Piece Picatinny Mount (XASR-RM01) from Jani Nordman.
Like it’s big brother the Paragon/Scrapper one piece mount, this will give your Maverick red dot and magnifier a uniform one piece mount, can you also mount any other optic on this mount, well technically yes, as the red dot mount is the Aimpoint T-1 mount so any red dot with that footprint will be able to attach, the flip to side magnifier footprint is the same two screw one that is used in Paragon series, if you already have a magnifier from a different manufacturer see the product specification of the mounting dimensions or contact Vector to see if it can be mounted. But if you already have the Maverick series, this will work perfectly (note, not the ring-mounted Maverick magnifiers).
The Mount
The mount is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, an industry-standard alloy for these types of mounts. Yes, it would have been stronger if made from 7075-T6, but then the price would have risen significantly.
After you’ve mounted your red dot and magnifier, the mount itself is attached to the Picatinny rail via the three screws on the side. There are two recoil lugs on the bottom, so you’ll be secure that no amount of recoil is going to destroy the mount. The screws seem to be of higher quality than previous mounts.

Red dot mount
As mentioned in the opening statements, the red dot mount is the widely used Aimpoint T-1 mount, so if you have a red dot that uses this footprint, you’ll be able to mount it. Just follow the link below to make sure the dimensions work, as you can see from the photos, even with Maverick, the gaps are small, so be warned.
You’ll only get the mount in the box, so make sure you have the proper screws for your red dot! And remember proper torque, so you don’t strip screws or have a red dot fly off mid shooting.

Magnifier mount
The magnifier mount has two screws and a slot in the middle. This will take the Maverick screw-in magnifier but also the Paragon magnifier. Have a look at the pictures and the dimensions in the link below to see if your magnifier can be mounted. Once mounted, the red dot can only be flipped to the right, no left below flip, due to this not being high enough and complex enough for that, so it’s a more straightforward mount than its bigger brother Paragon/Scrapper one.
There is a button that holds the magnifier in place when in use and a spring that holds the magnifier off to the side when not used, so just be aware that moving and rustling can make the magnifier flip back to the lock. All parts of the magnifier mount feel and function like a quality product; the button requires effort to push, so you don’t easily accidentally push it to the side. Fit and finish are excellent, so there are no quality issues with the fit and finish.

Final verdict
This is a well-made, fit-to-purpose, very good one-piece mount, with a street price well below 90 € / $ / £ means for that price, you’re getting a very good uniform way to mount your red dot and magnifier. If this look is what you’re after, consider putting this in your shopping list.
Great mount, good price, and quality.
