Aspheric Lens in Frenzy GenII Red Dot Sights

What’s the biggest update on the new Frenzy GenII red dot sight(SCRD-64 & SCRD-SM64)? Unlike previous generations of the Frenzy red dot sight, the new Frenzy GenII utilizes an aspheric lens, resulting in reduced image distortion compared to earlier generations.

Aspheric lenses have a non-spherical surface that corrects spherical aberration, resulting in clearer and distortion-free images for red dot sights. They also use fewer elements, which improves light transmission and reduces weight. Some designs minimize parallax but require high processing. Aspheric lenses are suitable for red dot sights with a short focal length.

Why Choose Aspheric Lens?

1. Corrects spherical aberration for clearer and distortion-free images

2. Improves light transmission, and reduces weight

3. Minimizes parallax (theoretically)

4. Suitable for red dot sights with a short focal length
